Project Timeline
Initial Phase: September 2025 β August 2027
The foundation of SADIT-MAR begins with a two-year launch phase, delivering high-impact research, training programs, and international convenings. As the network grows, we will pursue additional funding opportunities to expand our reach, deepen our impact, and sustain long-term collaboration in maritime digital safety.
Funding & Support
SADIT-MAR was founded and initially funded by Lloyd's Register Foundation, an independent global charity that works to achieve advances in transportation safety and education through engineering research, innovation, and skills development.
Building on this foundation, SADIT-MAR will actively seek additional funding from international agencies, industry partners, and research councils to scale our activities and ensure the network's continued growth and impact.
